Kimley-Horn is seeking an Experienced Electrical Engineer or Analyst with 2+ years of electrical design experience to join our Palm Beach Gardens MEP team in Florida. You will support the electrical design on large-scale projects, develop reports, and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams.

Requirements include a BS in Electrical Engineering, 2+ years of design experience, and proficiency with AutoCAD; EIT or ability to obtain within 6 months is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required; EIT preferred or must be obtained within 6 months.
• 2+ years of electrical engineering design experience on large-scale projects.
• Strong NEC/NFPA code knowledge and energy code familiarity.
• Proficient in AutoCAD; BIM experience with Revit is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Support MEP team on large-scale electrical design projects.
• Participate in project teams in an active production role.
• Contribute in project meetings with clients and internal teams.
• Prepare electrical design plans, specs, and power analyses.
• Develop reports and construction cost estimates.
• Coordinate with fire alarm, lighting, and technology specialists.
• Verify as-built drawings and ensure design quality.
