HORIBA Instruments in Troy, MI is seeking an Electrical Dyno Systems Engineer for energy and environment solutions. You will develop electrical specifications for new HORIBA equipment, ensuring designs meet NEC, UL, IEC, IEEE, NFPA and OSHA standards.
You will produce one-line diagrams, control schematics, and panel layouts, and standardize drawings across HORIBA product lines. A Master’s in EE and 10+ years with AutoCAD Electrical are required; strong PLC, E‑Plan and SAP experience is preferred.

The Electrical Dyno Systems Engineer will focuses on developing electrical specifications and designs for new HORIBA equipment, including conceptual and detailed product design, plus verification and validation plans. It requires applying industry standards (NEC, UL, IEC, IEEE, NFPA, OSHA) and producing compliant one-line diagrams, control schematics, and panel layouts. The position also ensures standardization of product drawings across HORIBA’s global product lines.
