Placements24 in Paarl is seeking a meticulous Electrical Draughtsperson to translate engineering designs into precise drawings and documentation for electrical installations and manufacturing.

You will work closely with electrical engineers, project managers, and construction teams to ensure accuracy, compliance with standards, and efficient document control, with opportunities to enhance CAD skills and contribute to BOMs.

Qualifications

• National Diploma or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or Draughting.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as an Electrical Draughtsperson.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and related CAD software.
• Strong understanding of electrical symbols, standards, and terminology.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed electrical drawings, schematics, and layouts using CAD software.
• Ensure all drawings comply with relevant standards and company specifications.
• Coordinate with electrical engineers to incorporate revisions into drawings.
• Manage drawing register and document control procedures.
• Assist in BOM preparation based on finalized electrical designs.
• Review and check drawings produced by others for accuracy.
