Job summary

ALTEN Technology USA is seeking an Electrical Drafter/Designer to develop electrical designs for industrial projects, using AutoCAD Electrical. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure on-time delivery, review drawings and P&IDs, and produce accurate as-built documentation.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, plus knowledge of power distribution and industrial automation. Occasional travel to customer sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in engineering or related field.
• Experience reading electrical schematics, single line diagrams, and network drawings.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical and CAD software.
• Knowledge of document management and revision control systems.
• Understanding of low-voltage power distribution and industrial electrical design.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical designs and documentation for industrial projects (single line diagrams, panels, schematics).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet customer, quality, schedule, and budget.
• Review drawings, P&IDs, and design documents against requirements.
• Create and maintain electrical drawings using AutoCAD Electrical.
• Support engineers with project deliverables and field activities.
• Produce as-built and as-shipped documentation.
• Assist with power distribution, control systems, and industrial automation design.
• Participate in meetings and design reviews; communicate risks and scope.
• Travel to customer sites occasionally for support.
