Job summary

Actalent in Southaven, MS is seeking an Electrical Designer/Drafter to support large-scale power generation and data center infrastructure projects. You will create and update electrical schematics, work with engineers to translate concepts into drawings, and maintain strict documentation control in a fast-paced construction environment.

The role requires 5+ years in electrical drafting, proficiency with AutoCAD, and experience with high-power facilities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience creating and modifying electrical schematics and drawings.
• 6+ years of experience drafting in power generation, utilities, or heavy industrial environments preferred.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD for electrical drafting and updating documentation.
• Experience with power distribution systems, substations, transmission, and large industrial facilities.

Responsibilities

• Create, update, and modify electrical schematics and drawings for power generation and data center infrastructure.
• Translate design concepts into accurate electrical drawings with engineers.
• Incorporate redlines into controlled drawings while preserving version integrity.
• Maintain organized electrical documentation and ensure compliance with project standards.
• Manage multiple drawing revisions and ensure timely delivery of updated documentation.
