Job summary

UGI Utilities, Inc. is seeking a Technician to support engineering and project management efforts extending and preserving the distribution system capacity for new and existing customers.

The role focuses on reliable, safe, timely, and economical service with fault resolution and problem solving. The ideal candidate will design, stake out, and deliver project designs, coordinate right-of-way and permits, and ensure timely construction.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of UGI's distribution line construction standards, methods and equipment.
• Knowledge of National Electric Safety Code and National Electric Code, PA 1-Call and OSHA regulations.
• Ability to work independently and manage projects from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• Design expansions to the distribution system for new loads and customers.
• Identify and design small distribution projects to improve safety and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve service problems and coordinate with field teams.
