Job summary

TechServ is seeking Experienced Engineering Technicians/Designers in the Electrical Distribution domain to design and upgrade electric distribution systems. You will work with Project Managers, Engineers, and Designers to develop high-quality construction plans, review field data, and ensure adherence to client specifications.

Qualified candidates have hands-on experience with Maximo, DDS, and SPIDAcalc, proficiency in AutoCAD or MicroStation, and the ability to manage multiple projects while

Qualifications

• Previous experience designing electrical distribution systems is required.
• Hands-on experience with Maximo, DDS, and SPIDAcalc is strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of overhead and/or underground electrical distribution systems.
• Experience interpreting utility standards, construction drawings, field notes, and design specifications.
• Experience completing pole loading analysis and calculations using SPIDAcalc.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical distribution designs in accordance with client standards and requirements.
• Utilize Maximo, DDS, and SPIDAcalc to support design, documentation, pole loading analysis, and workflow.
• Prepare designs for new construction, system upgrades, relocations, rebuilds, and other projects.
• Review field data and existing infrastructure to produce accurate, constructible designs.
• Analyze reports, drawings, field information, and requirements to plan and design distributions.
