Job summary

AEP in Steubenville, OH is seeking a Work Scheduling Coordinator Associate/Coordinator to optimize the scheduling and coordination of engineered and non-engineered jobs for the distribution workforce. You will align personnel and equipment to ensure timely delivery using work management systems.

The role requires strong analytical and organizational skills, plus familiarity with DWMS, SPECTRUM and MACSS/OPS.

Qualifications

Associate degree in engineering technology or high school diploma with distribution operations experience.
Progression through work scheduling roles or equivalent experience is required.
Experience in distribution line operations and knowledge of distribution work processes.

Responsibilities

Characterize new Customer Work Requests including load and prerequisites.
Provide technical guidance on service design requirements and codes.
Coordinate with Customers, Supervisors, Inspectors, and Foresters to meet prerequisites.
Coordinate with Engineers and Metering to meet deadlines.
Negotiate schedules due to workload or weather conditions.
Review crew productivity and assist with training and meetings.
Coordinate planned outages and service restoration activities.
