Job summary

Pedernales Electric Cooperative, Inc. is seeking an experienced leader to manage the Supply Chain and Electrical Distribution Planning and Design Departments. The role drives solutions for new and upgraded service requests and administers the district's capital improvement budget.

The position requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering (or related field), five years of related experience, and at least two years of leadership. A valid driver’s license is also required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; five years of related experience; two years of leadership experience; valid driver's license.
• Knowledge of electrical distribution design and planning principles.
• Strong budgeting, strategic planning and project management abilities.
• Ability to negotiate with developers, builders and government entities.

Responsibilities

• Manage Supply Chain and Electrical Distribution Design and Planning Departments; ensure timely handling of customer requests.
• Facilitate meetings and coordinate with multiple departments to release projects for construction.
• Negotiate and communicate Cooperative policies with developers and builders.
• Develop and communicate department procedures to internal and external customers and resolve disputes.
