Job summary

Rexel USA in Stratford, CT is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to drive proactive telephone and email sales, build and maintain customer relationships, process quotes and orders, and expand opportunities within the existing base.

You will support outside sales, leverage ERP/CRM tools, and participate in product knowledge training, with a focus on delivering excellent service and growth for the Rexel network.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer service, sales, or electrical distribution experience.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Process telephone orders by quoting prices, delivery specs, and terms.
• Assist outside sales by processing priority transactions.
• Use digital tools to sell, promote, and answer technical questions.
• Prospect for new accounts within territory.
• Manage a defined customer base and maintain relationships.
• Close orders and resolve issues with root-cause analysis.
• Prepare quotations/proposals and follow-up through purchasing cycle.
• Report market and competitive insights to management.
• Participate in product meetings and trainings.
