Job summary

Verdantas LLC is seeking a Distribution Field Technician for Grand Rapids or Petoskey, MI. This hands‑on role involves supporting field operations and ensuring quality compliance across infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience with electric overhead and underground distribution systems.
• Ability to carry up to 50 lbs. and optionally climb poles.
• Valid Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Map and inventory existing distribution systems in the field.
• Identify system and safety issues in electrical systems.
• Perform construction inspections and spot checks for compliance.
• Complete field documentation timely, including JSA forms.
• Maintain detailed records of work performed.

Technical knowledge of electrical systems

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

Completion of lineman apprenticeship program
