Job summary

Think Power Solutions LLC seeks an experienced Distribution Construction Manager to oversee overhead and underground electrical distribution work in Michigan. You will coordinate field crews, verify drawings, and ensure safety, quality, and billing accuracy in support of DTE project portfolios.

Responsibilities include leading pre-construction meetings, reviewing one-line diagrams, and mentoring contractor teams while aligning with company standards and NESC requirements.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Engineering Technology or related field (preferred).
• 8–10 years of experience in electrical distribution or transmission construction.
• Prior foreman or field leadership experience required.
• DOL Certified Journeyman preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide Field Construction Management services to oversee overhead and underground distribution construction.
• Coordinate, oversee, and schedule all field activities with stakeholders and contracted crews.
• Plan, organize, and monitor contractor performance within assigned project areas.
• Conduct field inspections to ensure compliance with DTE specs, safety standards, and requirements.
• Verify as-built vs as-billed documentation for accuracy and billing integrity.
• Collaborate with ops, engineering, and design leads to keep maps and GIS data current.
