Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Engineering/Engineering Technology or related field with one year of formal technical training.
• Four to Six (4-6) years of related electrical distribution experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and builds customer relationships by ensuring requests are met promptly.
• Designs layouts for service additions and changes to the electric system using standards.
• Performs technical calculations and prepares work orders.
• Communicates company requirements for electric service installation.
• Designs, negotiates, and coordinates residential, commercial, and industrial service installations.
• Prepares easement documents and private property permits.
• Designs, negotiates, coordinates relocation of overhead/underground facilities.
• Recommends designs and coordinates installation of residential streetlights and security lighting.
• Performs analysis/assistance in emergency restoration; may work beyond hours.
