Job summary

Eversource Energy in Connecticut is seeking a Distribution Design Engineer to plan and optimize the electric distribution system across circuits, addressing load growth, voltage profiles, and reliability studies.

You will develop alternatives, perform outage analyses, and support field engineering design for customer additions. Requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering and 2–5 years in Energy Delivery, with a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.
• 2–5 years of equivalent experience in Energy Delivery preferred.
• Knowledge of distribution systems is desired. Must be able to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan function for all assigned circuits and monitor performance (load growth, voltage, reliability).
• Provide project management support for specific projects and engineering resolutions for outages.
• Create Work Requests in STORMS/AIMS and support Field Distribution Design.
