Job summary

Alpha 3 Consulting in Hamilton, NJ is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support electrical utility and private distribution projects. This full-time role offers a hybrid schedule with three days in the office (Tue-Thu) and two days from home. Location in Hamilton, NJ preferred, with other locations possible based on qualifications.

The role requires a bachelor’s in electrical/electronics engineering, a Master’s or 2+ years of experience, and a P.E. license or EIT.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in electrical/electronics engineering.
• Master’s degree or 2+ years of relevant experience.
• 2+ years of experience in the design of electric utility distribution systems.
• P.E. license or EIT with near-term license intent.
• Knowledge of NEC/NESC and distribution systems.
• Familiarity with CADD and GIS tools.
• Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, evaluate, and create designs and drawings for electrical distribution systems.
• Perform field reviews, sketches, CADD, and GIS design.
• Provide guidance to designers and drafters and coordinate with clients and engineers.
