Job summary

ESPO Corporation seeks an Assistant Electrical Detailer to support drawing production for diverse projects. This onsite position requires proficiency with CAD tools and the ability to prepare 2D and 3D electrical drawings using sketches and notes.

You will assist with project execution, maintain CAD standards, and help train staff while coordinating with engineers, designers and project managers to meet scope, schedule and budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Associate degree in drafting or equivalent experience is required.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, MicroStation and Excel to develop deliverables.
• Ability to work in 2D and 3D drawing environments and learn new software.

Responsibilities

• Assist in a full range of drawing production work.
• Produce project deliverables efficiently within budget.
• Assist with CAD drawing production and project execution.
• Print, scan, and submit drawing packages.
• Maintain high CAD proficiency and stay current with CAD systems.
• Train, mentor, and develop staff.
• Review project scope, schedule and budget.
• Resource management and task prioritization.
• Communicate workload with team and management.
• Maintain CAD standards and provide quality feedback.
• Assist in QA/QC processes.
