Salas O’Brien in Raleigh, NC is seeking an exceptional Electrical Designer to join our growing team. You will use REVIT and AutoCAD to design electrical systems, lighting layouts, and power systems for commercial spaces, working onsite at our new Raleigh office.

The role emphasizes accurate calculations, NEC and IECC compliance, and end-to-end project design from concept to completion, with a collaborative, entrepreneurial culture and opportunities for leadership.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience designing electrical systems for various facilities.
• Proficiency in REVIT and AutoCAD is essential.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Leadership ability and entrepreneurial spirit.
• Self-starter that requires little direction to move on a project.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic electrical engineering calculations.
• Layout and design electrical distribution.
• Work on lighting design and lighting controls.
• Design systems in accordance with the NEC and IECC.
• Design projects from conceptual design to completion.
