Job Summary

The Electrical Designer/Engineer will work in a fast‑paced multi‑discipline team environment. Our Electrical Designers focus primarily on the design of building related projects, including apartment buildings, retail/commercial spaces, hospital and educational facilities using Revit and AutoCAD software.

In This Role, You Will

• Develop electrical distribution and emergency generator system designs and documentation in AutoCAD/Revit.
• Understand and design lighting systems, electrical, and fire alarm systems.
• Perform electrical load calculations and select and size equipment.
• Edit electrical system specifications.
• Survey existing buildings and identify electrical systems and components.
• Review submittals of equipment for compliance with the contract documents.
• Observe and report upon electrical construction work in progress.
• Interact with project team members and leaders.

You Will Be a Great Fit If

• You have an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology program (or similar) — a plus.
• You have 3–5 years of experience in design of electrical systems for various types of facilities.
• You have design experience in commercial, residential and institutional projects.
• You have hands‑on experience with latest versions of AutoCAD and Revit, MS Office, Outlook, and engineering calculation and performance simulation software.
