Job summary

NES Fircroft is seeking an experienced Electrical Designer to support industrial and commercial projects by developing high‑quality electrical design packages and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams. The role focuses on delivering design documents on schedule while ensuring compliance with client standards and applicable electrical codes.

Responsibilities include creating single-line diagrams, schematics, cable schedules, and layouts; reviewing vendor packages; and collaborating with I&E,

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical design for industrial, commercial, or related engineering projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D.
• Strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and design documents.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills with cross-functional project teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain electrical design packages including single-line diagrams, electrical schematics, cable schedules, conduit and cable tray layouts, grounding and lighting plans.
• Vendor package reviews and incorporation of vendor documentation.
• Take ownership of assigned deliverables and meet milestones.
• Coordinate with Electrical & Instrumentation, Engineering, Piping, Mechanical, and Civil/Structural teams to resolve design conflicts.
• Support multiple projects in a shared-resource environment and participate in design reviews.
