Fives HPM is seeking an Electrical Designer to develop and integrate electrical systems for industrial automation projects. The role focuses on creating clear AutoCAD-based schematics, sizing components, and ensuring NEC-compliant designs across customer sites.

You will collaborate with engineers, purchasing, electricians, and technicians, while supporting bid proposals and project schedules. A strong eye for detail and proactive attitude are essential for success in this client-facing position.

Qualifikationen

• Experience with AutoCAD Electrical is a plus.
• Knowledge of servo systems, VFDs, PLCs, and HMI programming.
• Power distribution experience 480 VAC, 120 VAC, three-phase, and 24 VDC.
• Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Experience with Siemens TIA and CPQ tools is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Design and integrate electrical systems for industrial automation projects.
• Develop clear electrical schematics using AutoCAD.
• Lay out power cabinets, size conductors for feeder and branch circuits.
• Apply NEC-compliant design practices.
• Create and maintain project documentation and BOMs.
• Collaborate with mechanical engineers, purchasing, electricians and technicians.
• Develop project schedules and support bid proposals.
• Develop SSOW documents for electrical contractors when required.
• Provide project leadership and coordination as needed.
• Interface with customers during commissioning and delivery.
