Job summary

NES Fircroft is seeking an experienced Electrical Designer to support industrial and commercial projects by developing high-quality electrical design packages and coordinating with multidisciplinary engineering teams. You will deliver design documents on schedule, ensuring compliance with client standards and applicable electrical codes.

The role requires experience in industrial/commercial electrical design, proficiency in AutoCAD 2D, and strong NEC knowledge, with the ability to read drawings

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical design for industrial, commercial, or related projects.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and design documents.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and NEC understanding.
• Strong coordination with cross-functional project teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain electrical design packages including single-line diagrams, schematics, and cable schedules.
• Coordinate with Electrical & Instrumentation, Engineering, Piping, Mechanical, and Civil/Structural teams to resolve design conflicts.
• Review and incorporate vendor documentation into project design packages.
• Support multiple projects within a shared-resource environment while maintaining quality and schedule commitments.
• Participate in design reviews and collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
