Job summary

Burns Engineering, Inc. is seeking an motivated individual to assist the senior engineering staff in executing technical activities on assigned projects and to learn discipline technical policies and procedures.

Under supervision, you will participate in technical studies, investigations and designs to help deliver projects on time, within budget, and with high technical quality. You will gain hands-on experience through on-site inspections and collaboration with contractors and equipment

Qualifications

• Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
• Or two or more years of drafting and engineering technician experience.

Responsibilities

• Learn and assist in execution of design processes on assigned projects under supervision.
• Support senior engineers in technical studies, investigations and designs.
• Assist in coordinating project designs with other disciplines and contractors.
• Observe on-site inspections and learn to communicate design requirements.
