Job summary

Aqua-Aerobic Systems, Inc. in Loves Park, IL is seeking an Electrical Designer to review submittal drawings, create and release drawings, and prepare BOMs for panel assemblies; you will coordinate with Mechanical Engineering on contract projects.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Electrical Design or equivalent.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate on behalf of the Company while preserving positive customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Review submittal drawings and data required for customer design approval.
• Create and release new drawings, part numbers and special parts for orders.
• Produce Bills of Material for panel assemblies.
• Produce electrical section of the Operation and Maintenance Manuals.
• Design and/or inspect equipment for specification compliance.
• Issue engineering change orders
• Work with vendors to locate components and obtain quotes.
• Provide technical support to Customer Service, Customers, Sales and Manufacturing.
