Job summary

Aqua-Aerobic Systems, Inc. in Loves Park, IL is seeking an Electrical Designer to review submittal drawings, create and release drawings and part numbers, and prepare Bills of Material for panel assemblies.

You will coordinate with Mechanical Engineering and produce electrical sections of manuals. The role requires an Associate's Degree in Electrical Design, proficiency in AutoCAD (and AutoCAD Electrical), strong communication, and the ability to negotiate with vendors while supporting multiple

• Associates Degree in Electrical Design or equivalent.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate on behalf of the Company while preserving positive customer relationships.

The Electrical Designer will review submittal drawings and data required for customer design approval. Create and release drawings, part numbers and special parts for orders. Produce Bills of Material for panel assemblies. Produce the electrical section of the Operation and Maintenance Manuals. Coordinates with Mechanical Engineering on contract projects.

This position will be onsite at Aqua-Aerobic Systems, Inc. in Loves Park, IL.

Work Environment

Usual office working conditions with moderate noise such as computers and printers, telephones and copy machines. Exposure to elements such as odor, noise, dust, heat, cold, and/or chemicals.

Minimum Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Electrical Design or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Proficiency with AutoCad and/or AutoCad Electrical.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate on behalf of the Company while preserving positive customer relationships..

Salary Range: $29.08 - $35.00 per hour
