Job summary

STSI (Staffing Technical Services Inc.) is seeking an Electrical Designer/Drafter II in the Northwest Denver Metro Area. You will assist in creating electrical designs and documentation for control panel systems using CAD tools under senior staff supervision.

The role requires 1+ years of CAD design experience, SolidWorks Electrical or AutoCAD Electrical proficiency, and knowledge of UL 508A standards. Excellent communication and a high school diploma or better are expected.

Qualifications

1+ years CAD design and production of electrical design documents.
SolidWorks Electrical or AutoCAD Electrical experience required.
Experience with conduit schedules and layouts, cable tray layouts, schematics, and power one-lines.
Knowledge of UL 508A standards for control panels and motor/process control.
Strong communication and organizational skills; proficiency with Windows.
High school diploma or GED; CAD drafting education preferred.

Responsibilities

Create detailed electrical designs and drawing packages per specs.
Develop schematics and layouts with SolidWorks Electrical or AutoCAD Electrical.
Execute full-cycle electrical design and drafting tasks.
Assist with PLC control panels assembly and wiring per UL 508A.
Interpret schematics and data sheets for correct integration.
Review designs to resolve conflicts and errors.
Produce 2D panel layouts from conceptual sketches.
Support engineers in preparing panel designs for quotes and bids.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time delivery.
