This hands-on role requires 2+ years of industrial electrical design experience, proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical, and the ability to read P&IDs and electrical drawings.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Design electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts and conduit schedules.
• Create panel assembly drawings and bills of material.
• Apply I/O lists, P&IDs, customer specifications and applicable codes.

ABEC is seeking an Electrical Designer/Drafter to create electrical schematics, control‑panel drawings, conduit layouts and bills of material for custom‑engineered equipment used in biopharmaceutical manufacturing.

This is an industrial controls and equipment‑design role, not an IT, software or network‑infrastructure position. Experience with PLC/DCS hardware, process instrumentation, motor controls and AutoCAD Electrical is strongly preferred.

What you’ll do:

• Design electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts and conduit schedules
• Create panel assembly drawings and bills of material

What You Bring:
