Job summary

Giga Energy seeks an Electrical Designer to craft power systems for data centers and power-generation projects. You will deliver complete design packages, coordinate in 3D with Revit, and own drawings end-to-end with a strong emphasis on standards and collaboration.

You will work in a hybrid role with onsite expectations in multiple hubs and occasional WFH Fridays. This is a hands-on position requiring ownership from concept through IFC and clear liaison with the Electrical Engineer and

Qualifications

• 5+ years of electrical design experience on industrial, utility, power generation, data center, or heavy commercial projects.
• Advanced AutoCAD skills as the primary design tool; strong Revit coordination.
• Ability to take design from concept through IFC with minimal hand-holding.

Responsibilities

• Produce electrical design packages for data center and power generation sites.
• Coordinate designs against the Revit federated model in 3D.
• Develop medium-voltage distribution from utility through substation interconnections.
• Maintain AutoCAD drawings to Giga standards with controlled revisions.
• Support permitting, utility interconnection, and vendor submittals.
