Job summary

EXP is seeking an Electrical Designer to join the Mission Critical & Data Center team in Dallas, TX. You will produce construction documents from design through bidding under supervision.

The ideal candidate holds a BS in Electrical Engineering, 1+ years of experience, EIT/FE, and strong AutoCAD; Revit is a plus; experience with EasyPower and SKM Power Tools for arc flash studies; proficient with MS Office and excellent communication and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited university.
• 1+ years of experience.
• EIT or taking FE exam.
• Strong AutoCAD experience.
• Revit experience is a plus.
• Experience with using EasyPower and SKM Power Tools for Arc Flash Studies.
• Microsoft Office.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Mission Critical experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for production of construction documents from initial design to bidding, under the supervision of a senior engineer.
• Responsible for drawing setup and design documentation.
• Perform coordination with other disciplines on all projects.
• Perform projects within established project budgets and schedules.
