Job summary

AllSearch Professional Staffing, Inc. seeks an Electrical Designer to support the building systems design for commercial, educational, healthcare and office facilities in Wyomissing, PA. Responsibilities include creating power, lighting and low‑voltage drawings and coordinating with MEP teams.

The ideal candidate holds an ABET‑accredited B.S. in Engineering or Architectural Engineering, is EIT certified, and has 2+ years of electrical design experience under a PE’s supervision.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited B.S. in Engineering or Architectural Engineering.
• EIT certification required.
• 2+ years of electrical design under supervision of a PE.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Design building electrical systems: power distribution, lighting, low-voltage systems.
• Develop power plans, circuit layouts, panel schedules, equipment layouts.
• Design emergency power, backup generators, and distribution.
• Prepare electrical designs for fire alarm, data, and other low‑voltage systems.
• Create drawings using AutoCAD, AutoCAD MEP, and Revit MEP.
• Coordinate electrical with mechanical, architectural, and structural disciplines.
