AllSearch Professional Staffing, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Designer for building systems in Wyomissing, PA. The role focuses on HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection design for commercial and institutional facilities, under a PE on project teams.

Requires ABET-accredited engineering degree and EIT with 2+ years of experience and proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and MEP workflows. The position is full-time and on-site with a standard 40-hour week, overtime opportunities, and a path toward PE

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree required.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification required.
• 2+ years of experience under a PE in building design.
• Experience with HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems for various building projects.
• Prepare mechanical drawings, plans, specs, and documents using AutoCAD, AutoCAD MEP, and Revit MEP.
• Develop layouts, equipment schedules, duct/piping layouts, and construction docs.
• Conduct existing-condition surveys and site visits for renovations.
• Participate in design coordination meetings with architects and other engineers.
• Review RFIs during bidding and construction phases.
• Review submittals and shop drawings for compliance.
• Support site visits and closeout activities.
