Job summary

Stanley Consultants in Denver, CO is seeking an Electrical Designer with experience in building services and plant facilities for military, higher education, and industrial clients. You will design power distribution, lighting, grounding, and MCCs using AutoCAD or REVIT.

The role involves coordinating design work, managing a budget and schedule, and performing site visits under supervision, with familiarity in NEC requirements and potential use of AGi32 lighting analysis.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant design experience.
• AutoCAD and REVIT design experience; set up electrical drawings and pick up marks from engineer.
• Good understanding of the National Electrical Code.
• Experience with designing lighting systems preferred.
• Experience with designing power distribution and grounding systems preferred.
• Experience with designing communications and security systems preferred.
• Understanding of developing engineering drawings and specifications; perform basic engineering design; field site visits.

Responsibilities

• Design and layout of site and building power distribution with medium and low voltage systems, switchgear, panelboards and motor control centers; convenience power, grounding, lighting, and lightning protection systems in REVIT or AutoCAD.
• Coordinate technical efforts within discipline areas; manage a design budget and schedule; perform design duties under supervision.
• Perform project field site visits.
• Assist in developing engineering drawings and specifications.
