Job summary

McClure Engineering is seeking an Electrical Designer to join our team in St. Louis, working on complex buildings, data centers and campus systems.

You will coordinate with other disciplines and engineers to deliver high‑quality electrical designs. Requirements: 5+ years in electrical design/drafting; experience with BIM and Revit; ability to read 2D/3D drawings; proficiency in MS Office; and strong coordination with internal and external team members.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in electrical design/drafting for building systems.
• Proficient reading of 2D and 3D drawings.
• Familiar with BIM systems and Revit.
• Proficiency in MS Office and coordination with multiple disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Build design and layout functions (wire sizing, routing, equipment room layout, one line diagrams).
• Coordinate with designers, drafters, and engineers; review drawings for quality and code compliance.
• Perform field inspections to verify site conditions and document findings.
• Coordinate with internal/external team members and clients to share project information.
