Job summary

McClure Engineering seeks an electrical design/drafting professional to perform wire sizing, routing, and equipment room layouts while coordinating with designers, drafters, and engineers. Review drawings for quality and code compliance, and verify site conditions through field inspections.

Applicants should have a technical/associate degree (bachelor's acceptable) and 2+ years in electrical design/drafting, BIM systems familiarity, and Revit experience.

Qualifications

• Technical or Associate degree required; Bachelor’s in Drafting or Engineering Technology acceptable.
• 2+ years in electrical design/drafting for building systems and wiring/ductwork sizing.
• Familiar with BIM systems and Revit experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret 2D and 3D drawings; proficient with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Design and layout tasks: wire sizing, routing, and equipment room layout for projects.
• Review drawings for quality, clarity, and code compliance; coordinate with design team.
• Conduct field inspections to document site conditions.
• Coordinate with internal/external team members and clients; share project info timely.
