Job summary

McClure Engineering in St. Louis, MO is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead building and campus electrical design projects.

You will handle power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and data infrastructure, coordinating with drafter/designer teams to produce drawings and specs. The ideal candidate has a PE (preferred) and 7+ years of design experience in commercial, institutional, or healthcare facilities, with strong knowledge of NEC and NFPA codes and proficiency in Bluebeam,

Qualifications

• B.S.E.E. required or equivalent experience; PE preferred.
• 7+ years of electrical design experience for commercial, institutional, or healthcare facilities.
• Knowledge of NFPA, NEC; equipment selection and troubleshooting.
• MS Office proficiency; Excel, OneNote, Outlook, Word.
• Ability to read 2D and 3D drawings.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical project design and coordinate tasks with the team.
• Advise clients on electrical systems and code compliance.
• Perform field inspections and develop project requirements.
