Job summary

Florida Engineering Services, Inc (FES) in North Miami Beach is seeking an Electrical Engineer Designer to apply engineering fundamentals to design electrical systems for MEP projects. This role focuses on creating construction documents under the supervision of a licensed PE.

The position requires working in the office, with proficiency in REVIT, BIM 360 and AutoCAD, a basic understanding of electrical building systems, and strong communication skills in English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering required.
• 2–3 years of electrical design engineering experience.
• Construction administration skills.
• Strong written and spoken English communication.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical systems for high-spec projects.
• Create electrical drawings for new projects and update existing drawings.
• Perform calculations for voltage drop and transformer capacities.
• Review designs for code compliance and standards.
• Coordinate with clients and project teams.
• Assist with PE licensure preparation.
