Job summary

NANA Worley is seeking Electrical Designers at multiple levels for our Anchorage, AK location. The role involves applying engineering principles to design and modify facilities and equipment within a multi-discipline team. Remote work may be considered case-by-case.

Position levels range from Entry to Principal Designer, with experience in arctic electrical installations, NEC, motors, and third-party certifications preferred. Strong AutoCAD skills and vendor data interpretation are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with electrical design for oil and gas or related industrial settings.
• Proficient in interpreting codes, standards and specifications to produce designs.
• Familiarity with computer-aided design software and field implementation processes.

Responsibilities

• Interpret codes, procedures, standards, and specifications to ensure designs meet requirements.
• Review vendor data and drawings for project conformance and resolve issues.
• Develop material takeoffs and estimates.
• Operate AutoCAD and other design software.
• Provide technical guidance and training as needed.
• Inspect equipment for conformity with design specs and assess feasibility of modifications.
• Design electrical equipment and systems for industrial use.
• Support field construction with accurate technical information.
