Strata Clean Energy in Durham, NC seeks an Electrical Designer 3 to prepare and develop drawings and specifications for electrical systems in ground-mount utility-scale solar PV power plants.
The role requires 8+ years of experience, proficiency with AutoCAD, and strong written and verbal communication. Ability to deliver high quality work in a fast-paced environment and willingness to learn new technologies is essential.
Electrical Designer 3 is responsible for preparation and development of technical drawings and specifications of electrical systems for ground mount utility-scale solar PV power plants. This role requires an understanding of Electrical Engineering principles, along with the ability to analyze information and present it in a clear, accessible manner to guide electrical installation.
Work is performed in the office and in the field. Must be able to sit, stand, bend, twist and lift up to 20 pounds. May be exposed to weather elements when in the field. Limited out of town travel may be required.
