RPT Alliance LLC seeks an experienced Electrical Designer to design and develop electrical systems across projects. You will create detailed schematics and layouts using CAD, collaborate with engineers, and help plan scope, schedules, and deliverables for successful project outcomes.

The role requires seven plus years of relevant experience, strong communication and analytical skills, and the ability to work independently within a team environment.

• Provides CAD drafting, prepares drawings and schematics from specifications, layouts, vendor data, and sketches.
• Coordinates with engineers or designers to complete projects per specifications and standards.
• Support equipment sizing, selection, and other deliverables.
• Present design deliverables to project members and stakeholders.
• Plan, forecast, and actualize deliverable progress for project reporting.
• Identify scope changes and estimate impact to effort and schedule.
• Assist proposal efforts by evaluating RFP scope and deliverables.
• Work is highly independent.
• Prepares, reviews, and approves electrical equipment, conduit, and wiring BOMs and design.

Design and develop electrical systems for various projects, ensuring their functionality, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards. Collaborate closely with engineers and other stakeholders to analyze project requirements, identify design constraints, and propose innovative solutions to optimize electrical system performance. Create detailed electrical schematics, diagrams, and layouts using computer-aided design (CAD) software. Your expertise in electrical design principles, codes, and regulations will be essential in selecting appropriate components and equipment, such as transformers, motors, circuit breakers, and control panels. Additionally, you will be engaged to participate in project scoping, planning, status reporting and scope management.

Responsibilities

• Provides computer aided design (CAD) drafting, prepares drawings and schematics derived from a variety of specifications, layouts, vendor data, and sketches.
• Coordinates and consults with engineers or other designers to complete projects, ensuring adherence to established specifications and standards.
• Support equipment sizing & selection, alternative analyses, and other deliverables.
• Support the engineering, design, procurement, construction, and commissioning of facilities.
• Present design deliverables to project members, cross-functional teams, senior leadership, external vendors, clients, and other stakeholders.
• Plan, forecast, and actualize deliverable progress to support project reporting and schedule requirements.
• Identify scope changes and estimate impact to effort and schedule.
• Supports proposal efforts by evaluating RFP scope, indentifying list of deliverables and estimating effort required to complete deliverables.
• Work is highly independent.
• Prepares, reviews, and approves electrical equipment, conduit, and wiring BOMs and design.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or associate degree or equivalent preferred.
• Seven or more (7+) years of relevant experience.

• Proficient in both written and spoken.

Physical Demands and Working Environment

• Partially indoor professional office environment which may exposure to include bright/dim light, noise, fumes, odors, and traffic.
