Actalent in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to produce documentation for UPS and backup power configurations, focusing on existing systems rather than greenfield work. You will create single-line diagrams, multiline schematics and panel schedules, using templates and standards while ensuring drawings tell the same story.

This role requires 2+ years of electrical design experience with NEC knowledge, and offers a hybrid workplace in Fort Wayne.

Qualifications

• 2+ years electrical design experience and documentation.
• Experience designing electrical circuits and wiring for large electrical components preferred.
• Experience creating single line diagrams, panel schedules with loads, multiline diagrams (schematics) using design software for circuits and wiring along with BOM's using site definition and SOW.
• Experience with wiring UPS with Lithium batteries a plus, not required.
• Familiar with NEC for wiring requirements.
• Experience troubleshooting electrical assemblies remotely and referring to single line diagrams and multiline diagrams to find root cause.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Fort Wayne, IN.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
