Job summary

Thinklance LLP in Kokomo, Indiana, is seeking a student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering to support the engineering design team with controller development, analyze circuits for compliance, and collect data in a hands-on lab environment.

You will assist with validating controllers, testing parameters, and setting up test rigs, using basic lab equipment such as digital multimeters and oscilloscopes, and tools like Mentor Graphics, OrCAD, Mathcad and Spice.

Qualifications

• Pursuing bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (3.0 GPA or B average on hire).
• Some experience with basic lab equipment such as digital multimeters and oscilloscopes.
• Experience with MS Office.
• Some experience with CAD tools such as Mentor Graphics or OrCAD.
• Some experience with analysis tools such as Mathcad and/or Spice.
• Desire to work in a lab environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the engineering design team with controller development activities.
• Analyze electronic circuits to verify compliance with controller requirements.
• Test controllers to verify parameters align with analysis.
• Collect and analyze data.
• Support the validation lab with test set-ups.
