Actalent in Lancaster, PA is seeking an Electrical Design & Regulatory Compliance Engineer to design electrical components and ensure compliance with electrical, electronic, and RF standards for market access.

The role requires an Associate degree in electronics engineering (Bachelor's preferred), 2–4 years PCB-level product design, Proficiency with OrCAD/Altium/EDA tools, and firmware/RF/IoT exposure. Hybrid, permanent role with $85,000–$100,000/yr.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in electronics engineering required.
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field preferred.
• 2–4 years of PCB-level product design, IC selection, BOM development and related EE engineering activities.
• Experience in electronic regulatory compliance (electrical, electronic, and/or RF standards).
• Proficiency in design software (OrCAD, Altium, EagleCAD, KiCAD, DipTrace, UpVerter) required.
• Experience writing embedded firmware code; RF product design, IoT and ML a plus.
• Project management and other regulatory compliance activities are a plus.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational and communication skills.

The Electrical Design & Regulatory Compliance Engineer is responsible for both the design and development of electrical components and products within the Product Enhancement Engineering team and for ensuring product safety/compliance with applicable electrical, electronic, and radio frequency standards and directives for market access across the entire business.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $100000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
