Job summary

CloudHQ, LLC seeks an Electrical Design Manager to lead electrical systems design for data centers across the Americas. You will drive the full lifecycle from planning to handover, collaborating with customers, architects, engineers, and operations to deliver reliable and efficient facilities.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in data center electrical design, with at least 2 years in a lead role, and a track record of coordinating external consultants and multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience designing electrical systems for data centers or mission-critical facilities.
• At least 2 years in a lead design role.
• Experience managing external design consultants and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead initiation and execution of electrical systems design focusing on reliability, efficiency, and sustainability.
• Manage third-party consultant teams and ensure designs meet customer requirements and CloudHQ standards.
• Oversee design deliverables, schedules, and task allocations for high-quality output.
• Support campus planning, entitlements, design, and permitting from site acquisition through construction documents.
