Job summary

Cyntergy is seeking an Electrical Engineering Designer to lead electrical design for retail facilities in a hybrid environment across Tulsa, OK and regional projects. You will design lighting, power, and distribution systems, coordinate with architects, and ensure compliance with NEC and local codes.

The role requires strong Revit skills, three years of experience in electrical design, and the ability to manage multiple projects with clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Associate’s, or vocational degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• Strong Revit design capability and understanding of building systems.
• Experience with electrical codes and multiple project types.

Responsibilities

• Be the Electrical discipline lead for assigned projects.
• Design, coordinate, and use Revit to produce lighting, power, and electrical distribution construction documents.
• Develop designs in compliance with NEC, energy codes, Life Safety Code, I-Codes, and local amendments.
• Perform electrical engineering calculations including voltage drop, load analysis, and fault current; specify equipment.
• Coordinate with clients, architects, and other engineering disciplines to integrate electrical systems.
• Represent the Electrical discipline in project meetings.
• Perform site observations and evaluate point cloud scans as required.
• Participate in multi-discipline QC reviews.
• Adhere to project schedules, budgets, and scope.
