Job summary

Black & Veatch Corporation is seeking an Electrical Engineer for industrial water projects. Lead electrical design, mentor staff, and coordinate with clients, utilities, and design teams across multiple locations in the United States.

The ideal candidate has 5–8 years in industrial water electrical design, a PE license, and strong communication skills to support business development and project execution. Hybrid work options are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required and professional licensure preferred.
• 5–8 years in industrial water electrical design, planning and construction.
• Experience with developing execution processes, standards, and training.
• Client-facing experience and ability to mentor staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design for industrial water/wastewater projects (Data Centers, Mining, Pharma).
• Mentor and coach junior engineers and staff.
• Coordinate with clients, design teams and local utilities.
• Review supplier submittals and provide technical guidance on standards.
• Perform startup and testing of major electrical equipment.
• Support business development for electrical services.
