Job summary

Qualifications

• Current student pursuing a degree in EET or relevant discipline.
• Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills.
• Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities.
• Ability to work cooperatively in team environment.
• Background check results satisfactory to SEL.
• Negative drug test result(s).

Responsibilities

• Support engineers in developing protection and control, substation, and industrial electrical designs, including drawings, BOMs, and project documentation.
• Learn and apply drafting standards using AutoCAD and MicroStation under guidance of experienced staff.
• Participate in engineering design reviews and technical discussions.
• Complete assigned work within schedule and budget to a high level of quality.
• Construct relay equipment racks for testing and assist with testing.
• Continuously identify, measure, and improve processes.
