Job summary

DBR is seeking an Electrical Design Intern for Houston, Dallas, and San Antonio. You will participate in power distribution, lighting design, and code compliance as part of a coordinated project team.

You are pursuing a Bachelor's in Architectural Engineering and must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship. Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD/Revit is preferred; strong communication and a willingness to learn are valued.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's in Architectural Engineering.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Design power distribution diagrams and one-line diagrams.
• Develop interior and exterior lighting plans based on codes and IECC.
• Apply NEC, IECC, ASHRAE, NFPA and IBC standards.
• Calculate electrical service sizes and conductor derating.
• Review submittals and respond to contractor questions.
