Job summary

ESCO Group's Electrical Design Associate Intern program offers hands-on exposure within ESCO Automation's multi-discipline design team. Students gain practical experience in electrical design, including panel wiring, layouts, BOMs, and documentation, under supervision.

Enrollment in or completion of an engineering degree is preferred; familiarity with AutoCAD Electrical or Eplan is a plus. This internship emphasizes safety, standards, and real-world project tasks through ESCO's 2027 Summer

Qualifications

Enrollment in or completion of an associate or bachelor’s degree program in engineering or a related discipline from an accredited college, technical school, or university.
Preferred: education or training in electrical design.
Preferred: education or training in electrical fundamentals and familiarity with AutoCAD Electrical or Eplan Electric P8.

Responsibilities

Observe and assist in the development of electrical design projects of small to medium size and limited complexity, including control panel wiring schematics, panel layouts, BOMs, and control system documentation.
Perform project tasks under direct supervision while adhering to scope, schedule, and budget constraints.
Utilize, support, and enhance ESCO's standards and best practices.
Follow all safety, conduct, and policy requirements established by ESCO and clients.
