Cushing Terrell is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern to join our in‑person team in Missoula, MT. You will gain hands‑on experience across low‑ and medium‑voltage distribution while developing Revit and AutoCAD skills in a collaborative design process.

You’ll participate in tailored trainings on electrical systems, lighting, and emerging technologies, with site visits and exposure to diverse project types. This is an on‑site opportunity with a multidisciplinary firm.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing 3+ years in electrical engineering or related undergrad program.
• Basic knowledge of Revit or AutoCAD.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills; ability to collaborate across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Support the design of electrical systems, including low‑voltage and medium‑voltage distribution.
• Build Revit and AutoCAD skills through hands‑on electrical design work.
• Learn and apply building codes and safety standards to project design.
• Complete tailored trainings on electrical systems, lighting, and emerging technologies.
• Coordinate with engineering teams across disciplines on active projects.
• Attend site visits with project leads when opportunities allow.
• Gain exposure to the variety of project types and teams across the firm.
