Job summary

Pro-Active Engineering seeks a detail-oriented Design Engineering Intern (Electrical) for Summer 2027 in Wisconsin. You will assist in schematic design, PCB layout, and component selection while developing test fixtures and documenting improvements.

Responsibilities

• Assist with schematic design, circuit analysis, simulation, and PCB layout.
• Support electrical component research, evaluation, and qualification.
• Create and maintain component libraries and design data in Altium KiCad Eagle.
• Develop BOMs, electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and specs.
• Assemble, test, troubleshoot, and debug prototypes using lab equipment.
• Support design reviews, ECOs, and design for manufacturability.
