Job summary

Caterpillar Electrical Power Division is seeking an Electrical Engineer-Design in Griffin, GA. You will lead enclosure packaging development programs, manage project plans, and mentor teammates while staying current with innovative technologies.

Ideal candidates have extensive CAD experience, knowledge of electrical design and industry standards, and a track record of delivering complex projects in a global environment. Relocation and travel support are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical-related).
• Experience with ProE/Creo electrical programs.
• Familiarity with electrical codes (UL, NEC, CSA) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead global teams in design of new products, processes, components, and systems.
• Provide technical guidance on product needs and new ideas.
• Communicate results to global customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams.
• Complete projects on time and on cost.
• Identify trade-offs between time, resources, and quality.
